You can program it to dispense feed up to six times per day for anywhere from 1-20 seconds each time. Feed is distributed in a 30′ diameter circular pattern and the 6.5 gallon barrel holds 40 pounds of feed. The feeder has an ABS plastic housing and a metal spin plate and funnel and is equipped with Moultrie’s Quick Lock adapter so it can easily mount on any barrel or hopper. A built-in varmint guard keeps critters from stealing the feed while a feed-level estimator and battery indicator allow for a no-surprises operation. The feeder requires a user-supplied 6V battery and has a jack for an optional external power source.
