KastKing Kalibrate is the only line spooling tool on the market which allows you to determine the exact amount of fishing line you are adding to your fishing reel. Our integrated line counter allows you to evenly split a spool of line between two reels for a more efficient and cost-effective use of your spool of fishing line. This counter also makes it very easy to add the ideal amount of backing to your spinning reels or braided Dacron to your fly reels. The Kalibrate fishing line spooler is designed to position the filler spool axis perpendicular to the rod for spooling casting reels. This orientation permits line to unroll from the filler spool and roll directly onto the casting reel spool without twisting the fishing line during the process. Our unique Line Boss tension band system allows for quick adjustments to the line tension being applied during the spooling process to ensure the line is tight on the spool. An integrated slide lock makes it easy to quickly adjust to large or small spools. For spinning reels, the filler spool axis is positioned parallel to the rod which allows the fishing line to un-coil from the filler spool and coil onto the spinning reel spool. This prevents the line from twisting as it is being spooled onto the spinning reel. The Line Boss adjustable tension band is used to apply the ideal pressure to make sure the line lays down correctly on your fishing reel and it is not too loose. The rod clamping system has 3 different settings so you can clamp rod blanks that range in size from 0.150 inches to 1.0 inch in diameter.
