Mountainsmith Trekker FX Lite

Serving double-duty as a staff and a camera mount, the three-section telescoping Trekker FX Lite pole provides travelers with mobility support while a connection point beneath the top handle accommodates most point-and-shoot cameras. The upper shaft section of the pole is made from carbon-fiber to keep weight to minimum and the lower sections are constructed of lightweight, durable 7075 aluminum. Easy-to-use external Outerlock (OLS) mechanisms provide reliable locking support and grant the pole a broad adjustability range of 28′-59′. A molded EVA handle provides a secure grip and an adjustable webbing strap reduces stress on your wrist. The top of the handle unscrews to reveal the 1/4-20 SAE threaded bolt that serves as the connection point for your camera (not included). NOTE: Due to the sensitive nature of camera equipment, Mountainsmith suggests a maximum camera carrying capacity of 3 pounds. Sold individually, the Mountainsmith Trekker FX Lite travel staff includes a narrow-profile, removable hiking basket. A snow basket (sold separately) can be used to better equip the pole for winter use.
