Moultrie All-In-One Deer Feeder Timer Kit – MFH-ATK Moultrie’s All-in-One Deer Feeder Kit is a great way to draw deer into one area while preventing varmints like squirrels, birds and raccoons from raiding the food supply. The feeder can be mounted to any drum or bucket and either hung from a tree, pole or other structure or mounted on tripod legs using one of Moultrie’s leg bracket kits. The built-in digital timer can be programmed for up to 4 feedings a day that can last anywhere from 1 to 20 seconds. The feeder also includes a battery powered motor that dispenses food in a circular area below the barrel. The motor runs on 4 AA batteries which can power the feeder for up to 4 months. If you don’t want to deal with batteries, this feeder can also be powered with a Moultrie solar panel attachment which is sold separately. Easy to Install on Any Barrel or Bucket The easiest way to mount this deer feeder is by using one of Moultrie’s buckets or barrels with pre-drilled mounting holes. But if you’re a do-it-yourself type with the materials available to you, any bucket or barrel can be altered to fit the feeder. The unit has adjustable mounting arms so you can drill holes in a regular barrel or bucket, line the screw holes up and secure the feeder to the feed container you’re using. From there you can either hang your homemade feeder from a tree or attach legs using your own materials or one of Moultrie’s leg bracket kits. Programmable Feeding Times Making the trek to the feeder’s location multiple times a day to manually dispense food isn’t an option for most people. Additionally, that much activity will keep wildlife away from the feeding area anyway. To make dispensing food as easy as possible and to minimize the amount of times you have to be in the feeder’s location, there’s a digital timer that can be programmed with up to 4 feeding times a day. The length of the feedings can be programmed as well – from 1 to 20 seconds in length.
